WWI - Allied Tanks, Soldiers During a Lull in the Fighting

This silent film depicts rare footage of American Soldiers training to attach trenchlines with French built Renault tanks and "after training" scenes of American Soldiers cleaning weapons and vehicles.
A mobile field kitchen is also shown for a rare glimpse of how WWI field kitchens operated in support of the troops. In addition, "off duty" time in WWI is depicted. Soldiers fish, feed a mascot bird and a local sutlers wagon is filmed as two American officers make a purchase. In all, an excellent and rare view of tank-infantry training and the life of the rank and file in WWI.
